Position: Assistant Compliance Manager Location: Markham (hybrid) Salary: $26.50/hr (plus benefits and prorated vacation) Job Type: 8-month contract (with potential for extension) Role Summary The Assistant Manager, Compliance supports the Compliance leadership team in overseeing and managing bank-wide regulatory compliance (excluding AML/TF). This role focuses on regulatory compliance management, consumer protection, privacy, compliance testing, and regulatory reporting, while working closely with internal stakeholders and the Parent Bank. Key Responsibilities: - Support the maintenance of the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) framework Identify, assess, and document applicable regulatory requirements across business units Perform gap assessments for new or amended regulations and track remediation efforts Document and review compliance policies, procedures, controls, and matrices Conduct compliance testing and monitor remediation progress Manage complaints and regulatory reporting (e.g., FCAC, OBSI) Review marketing and promotional materials for regulatory compliance Coordinate regulatory and internal reporting to senior management Support regulatory examinations, audits, and compliance training initiatives Assist with ad-hoc compliance projects as required Qualifications: - Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, Risk, Privacy, or related banking roles within the financial services sector Working knowledge of regulatory bodies and frameworks (OSFI, FCAC, CDIC, PIPEDA, CASL, Bank Act) Experience with Regulatory Compliance Management tools (e.g., Ethidex or similar) Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines **To apply, please send your resume to Christina Cerra at REFER A TEMP HIRE AND EARN A BONUS For details, click here.**
