Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop dental radiographs as needed Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist with patient examinations and recordkeeping using Dentrix or similar dental management software Support the dentist during procedures, including preparing instruments and materials Manage patient inquiries professionally, ensuring a positive patient experience Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of treatment areas Provide support for pediatric patients and assist with orthodontic procedures when necessary Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and oral health instructions Experience Prior experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is preferred Knowledge of Dentrix or other dental practice management software is highly desirable Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or assisting with dental procedures is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse patient populations Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care is essential Previous experience in a bilingual environment is advantageous but not required This role offers an engaging opportunity for a skilled Dental Hygienist committed to providing exceptional patient care while working in a supportive team environment.
