Job Description

SUMMARY Support the warehouse manager and coordinate the shipping & receiving activities and delivery schedules. Other responsibilities will include assigning tasks and supporting the manager with many administrative / office tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support for the office and management staff. Maintain levels of office and warehouse supplies. Ordering and inventory adjustments (damages / internal usage) Prepare receiving paperwork for all inbound deliveries. Prepare labels for customer orders and rack tags for product bin locations. Preparation of quotes for freight. Assist in preparation of yearly GDP audit. Oversee all aspects of JSONICS/HISENSE products. Assist in preparing necessary delivery and shipping documents for our drivers and carriers. Performs regular filing of orders, packing slips and other shipping documents. Perform inventory cycle counts and pallet counts as needed. Operate basic warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack or electric pallet jack when required. Follow GDP procedures and requirements regarding order processing and warehouse SOP compliance. Adheres to all Health and Safety Regulations. Organize/maintain work area in a clean and safe manner. Performs other duties as required. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Capacity to manage a high volume of documents Microsoft Excel, office and Word intermediate Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (an asset) Meticulous, organized and conscious of the quality of the work performed Quick learner; able to work autonomous or as part of a team Experience in a distribution environment is a definite asset Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position Knowledge of French an asset but not required WORKING CONDITIONS: Warehouse and office Fast paced environment Must have safety shoes Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Overtime when required Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Benefits: Casual dress Company events Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off RRSP match Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: Airdrie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: Microsoft Office: 2 years (required) in a similar position: 2 years (required) Language: English (required) Knowledge of French an asset (preferred) Work Location: In person
