Associate Technical Support Engineer (Level 1/2) Dartmouth, NS (On-site) Full-time Hariat Technologies Inc. About the Role Hariat Technologies Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated Associate Technical Support Engineer (Level 1/2) to support our internal IT operations and employees. This role focuses on day-to-day technical support, basic infrastructure management, and ensuring smooth system performance across Microsoft Azure and end-user environments. This is an on-site position based out of our Dartmouth office. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically strong, and comfortable handling both Level 1 and Level 2 support responsibilities. Job Opening - Associate Technic What You''ll Work On End-User Technical Support Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices Troubleshoot Windows OS, software issues, email, VPN, and connectivity problems Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) Handle password resets, account access issues, and MFA support Log, track, and resolve incidents using a ticketing system IT Infrastructure & Azure Support Support cloud-based servers and services hosted in Microsoft Azure Monitor system availability, performance, and basic health checks Assist with user administration in Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) Support VPN, LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system checks IT Operations & Asset Management Set up and configure new user workstations and software Decommission devices during employee offboarding Maintain IT inventory of hardware, licenses, and equipment Assist with system upgrades, hardware replacements, and migrations Work with third-party vendors and IT service providers as needed Job Opening - Associate Technic Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 12 years of experience in Technical Support, Helpdesk, or IT Operations Hands-on troubleshooting experience in a corporate IT environment Required Skills & Experience Operating Systems & End-User Support Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, peripherals) Microsoft 365 administration and support VPN and remote access troubleshooting Cloud & Infrastructure Experience with Microsoft Azure Basic server monitoring and support Understanding of Active Directory and Entra ID user management Knowledge of backups, updates, and system availability Networking Understanding of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues General Skills Experience using ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.) Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents Quick learner who can adapt to new systems and technologies Job Opening - Associate Technic Nice to Have SAP Business One or SAP system support experience Basic scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.) Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices Exposure to cloud optimization projects IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, AZ-900, MS-900) How to Apply Please send your resume and cover letter to
