Role Description This is a part-time in-person role for a Mathematics, Science and English Tutor at FOCUS Educational Services Inc. The Mathematics and Science Tutor will be responsible for providing online and/or tutoring sessions, assisting students with understanding mathematical and Science concepts, conducting math and science lessons, and enhancing student communication skills. Tutor will be tutoring students from grade 1 to 10. Qualifications OCT license (or other teaching licenses from Canadian provinces/territories) is required Bachelor''s degree in mathematics, bachelor''s degree in science, Education, or related field in Canada Must have attended high school in Canada Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is a plus Must be familiar with the Ontario school curriculum Strong communication skills Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences Excellent time management and organizational skills Patience and empathy when working with students Must be available to work: o Mondays 5.30pm to 9pm o Thursday 5.30pm to 9pm o Wed 5.30pm to 9Pm o Saturday 2pm to 4pm Must be Reliable Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour Benefits: Company events On-site parking Work Location: In person
