Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry operations, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders at the counter Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and digital payments Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, counters, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, providing excellent customer service Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation Skills Experience in food preparation and food service environments is preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Cashiering experience including cash handling and basic math skills for transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in the restaurant or food industry Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting Kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous Effective communication skills for serving customers and collaborating with team members Ability to upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities This role provides an engaging environment for individuals passionate about the food industry who are eager to develop their skills in customer service, food handling, and restaurant operations.
