Job Overview We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of one year of professional grooming experience and a genuine love for animals, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services. This role involves hands-on grooming as well as client-facing responsibilities, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a structured, in-salon work environment and takes pride in consistency, professionalism, and teamwork. Duties & Responsibilities Groom pets according to breed standards and owner preferences, including bathing, trimming, brushing, deshedding, and styling Cat grooming experience is considered a strong asset Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring a calm and stress-free experience for animals of all temperaments Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding grooming needs, expectations, and aftercare instructions Educate pet owners on proper grooming routines, coat maintenance, and general pet care recommendations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas at all times Assist with handling and lifting larger or heavier pets safely when required Perform reception and front-desk duties, including answering phones, booking and managing appointments, and assisting walk-in clients Support daily salon operations to ensure smooth and timely service delivery Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 1 year of professional pet grooming experience is required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling larger pets Calm, patient, and compassionate approach to working with animals High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining grooming quality standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following safety protocols Availability to work Sundays is required This role requires groomers to be onsite during scheduled work hours, regardless of appointment volume; flexible scheduling is not available Join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional grooming services while building lasting relationships with our clients and their beloved pets.
