Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients from homemade recipes and assist in food preparation according to our quality standards. Cook menu items with attention to presentation, taste, and consistency. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment. (Safe Food Handling) Assist with bagging orders and handing out orders, cutlery and condiments to customers. Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
