Location: Sarnia Position Type: Full-Time | Hybrid (On-site & Remote) Reports to: Manager of Services About Us Bluewater Respite Inc. provides personalized respite services that address the individual care requirements of people with developmental needs. We focus on creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for our clients and their families. Position Overview We are seeking a Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality respite services. This role is ideal for an organized, client-focused professional who enjoys coordinating services, supporting families, and working closely with independent contractors and community partners. The Coordinator is responsible for managing client files, coordinating schedules, supporting payroll processes, and serving as a key point of contact for families and funding agencies. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support a team of independent contractors delivering respite services. Manage client files, attend intake meetings, and support client onboarding. Act as a primary point of contact for families, funding agencies, and community partners. Create and manage schedules for clients and contractors. Complete incident reports and required documentation. Support payroll administration, including timesheets and PayWorks. Respond to scheduling changes, emergencies, and service disruptions as needed. Participate in monthly Coordinator meetings and organizational initiatives. * Work Experience 13 years of experience in a coordination, scheduling, or client services role. Experience in respite, developmental services, healthcare, or community services is an asset. Required Qualifications Valid G-Class Driver''s Licence. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. CPI Certification (Crisis Prevention Intervention). Diploma in Developmental Services Work (DSW) or equivalent. Current Broad Record Check (within the past 12 months). Skills & Attributes Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
