We are looking for a dependable and compassionate overnight respite caregiver to provide nighttime support for a hospice patient in a facility setting. This role emphasizes presence, comfort, safety, and attentive observation overnight. The ideal candidate is calm, steady, and capable of good critical thinking, understanding that nighttime hospice care may involve both quiet companionship and responsive support as needed. Responsibilities include: Overnight supervision and comfort care Providing reassurance and companionship Assisting with repositioning and basic needs Observing and reporting any changes to family and hospice staff Maintaining a peaceful environment overnight Requirements: Experience in hospice, palliative, respite, or caregiving roles Ability to remain attentive during long overnight shifts Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy Comfortable working independently within a hospice facility Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 60 per week Benefits: On-site parking Work Location: In person
