Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This is a flexible lifestyle for the caregiver where they can work around other obligations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about assisting others, especially seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The caregiver will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to each person''s needs. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and instructions Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Support clients with mobility exercises or physical therapy routines when applicable Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, hospice support, or working with individuals with disabilities Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries Experience Some prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings is preferred Knowledge of patient care procedures and caregiving best practices Some experience working with seniors, individuals with dementia, or those requiring hospice care is advantageous Familiarity with medication administration and basic nursing skills is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility or transfers Previous work involving caregiving for people with disabilities or special needs is highly valued but not necessary.
