What You Will Do: Process and maintain accounts receivable and aging report Full revenue billing cycle to customers Maintain budgets and job costs; communicate with accountants and operation teams on variances Maintain paperwork for purchase activity with vendors including extending & inputting invoices, matching invoices to POs, and posting items into the accounting systems Prepare vendor contract report each period to ensure compliance to contract terms Managing preliminary cheques register deadlines and approvals Support month end closing procedures, prepare journal entries, and maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts in established corporate formats and in accordance with accepted accounting principles. Prepare year end adjusting entries and accruals Assist in maintaining accounts on the balance sheet Perform bank reconciliations Evaluate the payables and receivables on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency. Assist in preparing financial reports and various other reports for end users Complete other special projects as assigned. What You Will Bring: Minimum of 2 years of project accounting experience Working towards their CPA Designation is an asset Excellent communication skills Strong problem solving skills Advanced Excel skills is an asset (ex. Pivot tables & macros) Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high quality of work Timberline/Acumatica experience is an asset.
