Role Description The Assistant Fitness Manager will take on a full-time, on-site position at our location in Whitby. Responsibilities include supporting the Fitness Manager in overseeing daily operations, assisting with staff management, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. Other tasks involve monitoring training programs, managing member engagement, and driving sales efforts to achieve fitness and service goals. The Assistant Fitness Manager will provide ongoing mentorship to personal trainers and promote an inclusive, motivating fitness-driven environment. Qualifications Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities Experience in sales, goal-setting, and achieving performance targets Knowledge of fitness training programs and industry standards CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Bachelor''s degree in Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or a related field is a plus Previous management or supervisory experience in the fitness industry is preferred Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
