What You''ll Do Diagnose and repair commercial transport motorcoaches using modern diagnostic tools and equipment Perform preventative maintenance and CVIP inspections (where qualified and authorized) Conduct test drives and operational checks as required Maintain accurate repair documentation and support parts ordering as needed Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, operations, and management to meet shop priorities Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment Provide mentorship and support for apprentices as needed What We''re Looking For Journeyperson Commercial Transport Technician (Red Seal) We may also consider: AST or Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Red Seal with proven on-road commercial fleet experience & air brake endorsement CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program) License, or an ability/willingness to obtain one within the probationary period 25 years of relevant experience, with previous work as a Journeyperson Mechanic considered an asset Valid Class 5 driver''s license Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills Solid knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including OH&S regulations, with strong attention to detail Employment is subject to a satisfactory background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Bonus Points Experience in motorcoach or fleet maintenance Familiarity with electronic work order or fleet maintenance systems Class 1, 2, or 3 license with air endorsement What We Offer $46 - $49 per/hour based on relevant work experience & certifications Full-time permanent employment with a steady schedule: MondayFriday, 810 hour days with overtime available Comprehensive benefits: health & dental coverage, RRSP match, paid training Local stability: build your career in Kamloops without excessive travel Work in a well-maintained facility that ensures a clean, organized, and safe environment for our mechanics About Keolis: Keolis provides mobility to over 3.4 billion passengers annually across 15 countries, operating everything from commuter trains and automated metros to shared bicycles.
