Company Description Mediablaster is a full-service affiliate and performance marketing agency specializing in the creation and management of paid advertising campaigns for companies in the finance, real estate, insurance and health and wellness sectors. We manage every aspect of the process from content development to campaign execution and optimization for some of the most prominent brands in these industries. Role Description The position of Media Buyer is a full-time role focused on managing, optimizing and growing paid advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, and TikTok. You will be responsible for campaign setup, analyzing results, and making changes to improve performance based on data. This role operates primarily within the ad managers and our attribution and tracking platforms as the company''s creative director, editor and developer provide creatives, landing pages and technical setup, though to succeed to a performance-based campaign a role a knowledge and understanding of all elements of campaign management are essential. In this role, you will be provided with training, guidance, clear KPIs and the tools required to succeed. This is a challenging position that goes beyond the traditional media buyer role at a standard model agency or in-house brand campaign manager. The position is best suited for an ambitious advertising professional looking to expand their skillset beyond the limited duties of those roles and develop competencies far beyond those that are normally taught and learn how to create profitable high scale ad campaigns. Job Duties Create ad campaigns in Meta, Google, TikTok and other paid ad platforms Perform creative and funnel testing Monitor and optimize campaigns with strict requirements for CPA/CPL/ROAS Perform regular sanity checks and QA on ad funnels Communicate with support and platform representatives for bugs, ad rejections and other issues Set up tracking within third party attribution platforms Research competitor practices to discover insights to improve performance Coordinate with company CEO, Creative Director and Developer in projects to create and grow campaigns Test different campaign methodologies and set-up structures Test new ad platforms periodically Work on both testing and optimizing new campaigns and funnels, as well as scaling existing campaigns at higher budgets Requirements This position is aimed at applicants with at least some employment of freelance experience in paid ads campaign management and media buying. However, overall proficiency will be valued higher than length of experience for this role. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: At least 1-2 years in a media buying or paid advertising campaign management position, or similar freelance/entrepreneurial experience Experience managing paid performance campaigns on one of more of Meta/Facebook, Google Ads or TikTok, ideally with demonstrable history of optimizing profitable campaigns Preferred experience in starting successful campaigns from new ad accounts and pixels without the benefit of first party audience data and brand level spend histories and optimization Understanding of tracking and attribution. Including UTMs, pixel and API based methods Experience with tracking and attribution platform(s) such as Voluum, RedTrack, FunnelFlux, TripleWhale, Hyros, Northbeam, Binom or similar Knowledge of creative testing processes, campaign optimization and split testing Excellent analytical and data processing skills including Excel Understanding of ecommerce and lead generation sales funnels and how they operate Experience in competitive creative research using platforms such as Facebook Ads Library, TikTok Creative Showcase, Google Ads Transparency and third party adspy tools Strong copywriting text with understanding of effective hooks and call to actions Problem solving ability to crack tough challenges for which a straightforward guide and explanation is not available Reliability and attention to detail.
