Job Posting: Experienced Loss Prevention Professional (Project-Based, On-Camera Role) Project Duration: 13 days Location: Ontario (Studio + Retail Environment) Compensation: Project-based rate, paid according to experience Smith Security Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Loss Prevention (LP) professional for a short-term project involving on-camera instructional filming. This role requires a seasoned LP practitioner with a strong background in both field operations and loss prevention training. The content filmed will support a new national training program for aspiring retail loss prevention individuals. About the Project The successful candidate will participate in the creation of professional training videos that cover: Industry expectations and best practices Legal and safety considerations in Ontario Training requirements for LP roles ''How-to'' demonstrations on investigative and observational techniques Scenario-based walkthroughs filmed in a real retail environment (e.g., dealing with suspicious activity, approaching a suspect, safety protocols) On-camera explanations and role-play scenarios Filming will take place over one to three days, combining studio segments and retail/environmental scene filming. Required Qualifications You must meet all of the following: Minimum 5 Years of Loss Prevention Experience Hands-on experience in retail loss prevention within Ontario Deep understanding of Ontario laws, safety standards, and industry protocols Experience training, coaching, or mentoring LP staff is strongly preferred On-Camera Experience & Communication Skills This is an on-camera role and applicants must: Be confident and natural when speaking on camera Communicate professionally and clearly Demonstrate the ability to teach, explain, and break down procedures English as Predominant Language Clear, fluent communication is essential for national educational content. Professionalism & Reliability Able to commit to the required 13 day filming schedule Comfortable working in both studio and active retail environments Highly reliable, punctual, and prepared What This Role Is Not This is not a full-time position. It is a short-term, project-based contract designed to capture professional video content. Compensation This project is compensated with a project-based rate, determined according to the candidate''s level of industry experience and training background.
