Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server / Server Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will support the serving staff by ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent guest service to enhance the overall dining experience. Previous experience in food service, customer service, or hospitality is required. Responsibilities Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to guests efficiently and accurately Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and plating as needed Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces Handle food safety procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and payments Restock supplies and assist with setup for service periods Engage with guests courteously, providing friendly guest services and addressing basic inquiries Support cashiering duties including cash handling and processing payments Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times Assist in meal preparation tasks when necessary, including barista or light cooking duties Experience Candidates with prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality are highly desirable. Specific skills that enhance suitability for this role include: Food service and customer service experience Kitchen or restaurant experience, including serving, food preparation, or cashiering Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or similar platforms Experience with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Hotel or barista experience is a plus but not mandatory Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout shifts This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy working in a lively environment while providing exceptional guest experiences.
