Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team and oversee daily store operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth to meet business objectives. Bilingual skills and prior supervisory experience are highly valued to effectively connect with diverse customer bases and team members. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and engagement. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management. Manage merchandising strategies, pricing, and product placement to maximize sales opportunities. Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and inventory tracking. Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clients. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure superior customer service standards are maintained. Monitor sales performance and prepare reports to analyze trends and identify areas for improvement. Manage purchasing decisions, budgeting, and payroll processing in coordination with company policies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with a strong background in sales management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership qualities with experience in supervising teams and fostering a positive work culture. Proficiency in POS systems, bookkeeping, cash handling, and basic math skills. Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer demographics. Competence in negotiation, marketing strategies, merchandising, pricing, and promotional planning. Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff. Knowledge of administrative tasks such as payroll processing, budgeting, and recordkeeping. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of store operations.
