Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to operate tractor-trailers across regional and national routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with expertise in handling various types of freight Dry van. This role involves delivering freight safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. The Long Haul Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service on every route. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across long-distance routes Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Drive various types of trailers including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and freight carriers Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and route adjustments Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit Assist with route planning to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency Experience Proven experience in truck driving, particularly in long-haul or route driving roles Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and confidently Experience handling Dry Van 53 Delivery driver experience involving load & unload operations using forklifts or other equipment is a plus Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers Prior experience with freight transportation involving different truck types such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is advantageous Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with clean driving record required This position offers an opportunity for professional growth within a dedicated transportation team committed to safety and efficiency.
