The primary responsibility is to deliver front-line 1:1 teaching using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) following each child''s individualized programming. This is a sub-contractor position. We currently have part time/full time positions for Instructor Therapists working one on one with children in centre based, residential-based and community-based settings and for our residential North Uxbridge, Brampton , Schomberg, and Tottenham teams. Improving the quality of life of the children and families you work with Working with a fun, experienced and professional team A comprehensive training program in a highly-supportive environment Supervision hours for the RBT training, with conditions BCaBA supervision hours, with conditions BCBA supervision hours, with conditions Part and full time hours What you''ll do: Deliver direct ABA services in 1:1 and in small group settings with children with exceptionalities and Autism Track and chart each child''s progress Support in small group settings (classroom support and social skills settings) Work in the Clinic, Community and/or in clients'' homes Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Psychology, or related field Diploma/Certificate in Behavioural Science Technology, Autism Behavioural Science Enjoys working with children and has endless energy and patience Experience working with children with exceptionalities including Autism Strong interpersonal skills, solid communication skills, professional Team player, multi-tasker, eager to learn Accepts feedback well, open to change, flexible Flex schedule, open to work on Saturdays/evenings as well as regular business hours Hold a valid driver''s license and access to a reliable car Willing to travel for home-based clients (GTA, Peel, Simcoe, Durham, Toronto) A Canadian permanent resident Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract Contract length: 12 months Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: Casual dress Flexible schedule On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: Newmarket, ON L3Y 8C6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: working with children with special needs: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: current Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person
