Our Cognitive Innovation Lab in Mississauga develops and deploys applied AI, automation agents, and quantum optimization frameworks designed to enhance real-world enterprise systems. We are a team of innovators committed to building scalable, cognitive technologies that redefine enterprise performance through AI and Quantum convergence. We are seeking a part-time onsite intern to join our Cognitive Innovation Lab in Mississauga. You will work directly with our Founder & CTO on developing AI agents, LLM-based workflows, automation models, and quantum optimization experiments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for increased hours or a full-time role based on performance and results. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines, delivers fast, accurate work, and demonstrates initiative and problem-solving capability in a high-performance environment. Key Responsibilities Design, test, and deploy AI and automation workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, and n8n Integrate AI and LLM components into existing PHP (Laravel) enterprise systems Develop and fine-tune LLMs (e.g., Llama, Mistral, GPT models) for specific business use cases Participate in quantum optimization (QUBO/QAOA) experiments for cost or resource modeling Prepare technical documentation, prototype summaries, and internal research reports Support rapid development and testing cycles under tight timelines Requirements Required Skills Proficient in Python, PHP (Laravel), JavaScript, and REST APIs Understanding of LLMs, Transformers, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering Experience or familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, and AI orchestration tools Strong foundation in data handling (Pandas, NumPy, JSON) and version control (Git) Excellent time management, communication, and analytical skills Ability to perform onsite in Mississauga, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure Education Open to students or recent graduates in: Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or related disciplines
