As the Kitchen Coordinator, you will play a vital leadership role in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals that fuel memorable camp experiences. HOW you''ll create Moments that Matter: You will support the coordination of daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation, food service schedules, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. You will help uphold food safety standards and compliance requirements while supporting inventory management, equipment care, and cost-effective food practices. You will also collaborate with kitchen leadership and camp teams to accommodate dietary needs and ensure meal service aligns smoothly with camp programming. You''ll bring: Experience in food service, kitchen operations, or institutional meal preparation, ideally in a camp or high-volume environment. Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to support staff and contribute positively to a fast-paced kitchen setting. A demonstrated commitment to food safety, inclusion, and supporting positive camper and staff experiences, aligned with the Y''s mission and values.
