Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our technology support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and maintaining various computer systems, including hardware and software across multiple platforms such as Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of devices, including mobile devices and retail systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to computer hardware components, mobile devices, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS). Perform software troubleshooting to identify and fix system errors or conflicts across various platforms. Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications on desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Utilize schematics and hand tools for hardware repairs or modifications when necessary. Assist retail sales teams by providing technical support for customer devices and troubleshooting on-site issues. Conduct routine maintenance to ensure all systems operate efficiently and securely. Provide technical guidance on device setup, configuration, and best practices for end-users. Document repair procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps accurately for future reference. Requirements Proven experience working with computer hardware components and operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques across multiple platforms. Familiarity with schematics and the use of hand tools for hardware repairs or adjustments. Ability to analyze technical problems quickly and develop effective solutions. Experience supporting mobile devices including smartphones and tablets in a retail or technical environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Retail sales experience is a plus but not required; a customer-focused attitude is essential. Relevant certifications or training in computer repair or IT support are advantageous but not mandatory.
