Director, Sales and Marketing The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing the overall sales, marketing, and branding strategy for the venue. This role will drive revenue growth through proactive sales initiatives, strategic marketing campaigns, brand partnerships, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-oriented professional with a passion for hospitality, food and beverage, and creating exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to increase venue bookings, events, and revenue. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across leisure, corporate, and private event segments. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel trade partners, and local businesses. Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts for group bookings, private events, and partnerships. Analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Marketing and Brand Development Create and manage marketing campaigns that promote the venue''s food, beverage, and event offerings across digital, print, and social platforms. Oversee the development of marketing materials, photography, and content that align with brand standards. Develop annual marketing budgets and media plans in coordination with senior management. Manage the venue''s online presence, including website updates, SEO, email marketing, and social media. Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to launch seasonal promotions, new menu items, and special events. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team. Establish clear performance goals and ensure that all sales and marketing activities align with the venue''s strategic objectives. Coordinate with the operations, finance, and guest relations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience from inquiry to execution. Market Analysis and Strategy Conduct regular market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to position the venue as a market leader. Track ROI on marketing and advertising initiatives, reporting performance to senior leadership. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master''s degree preferred). Minimum of 710 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality, food and beverage, or events industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and social media strategy. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills.
