Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations. A background in hospitality or food service is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans used in food preparation and service. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment. Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and storage areas. Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service times. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is a plus. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
