About the Candidate Our ideal candidate has: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in logistics. Supply chain management is preferred. 3 - 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory control, and/or warehouse coordination. A strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Excellent planning, scheduling and time management skills are required. Basic accounting skills and a high attention to detail. Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems is preferred. About the Role The successful candidate is responsible for supporting and coordinating daily logistics, inventory, and shipping activities to ensure the efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods throughout the organization. This role manages work orders, inventory accuracy, freight scheduling, documentation, and collaboration with internal departments and external carriers. The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining product quality, accurate records, and smooth warehouse operations. Logistics Coordination: Process complete work orders daily, including entering, updating, filing, and making adjustments when required. Retrieve work orders, update work order (WO) tracking, and ensure accuracy of all supporting documentation. Enter purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system and support documentation for stock transfers. Prepare waybills, shipment documents, and advanced shipping notices (ASNs). Monitor inventory movement and reconcile lot numbers, quantities, and discrepancies. Perform inventory adjustments for incoming and outgoing stock transfers. Manage damaged goods received from suppliers or customers, ensuring proper documentation and corrective follow-up. Create and revise Bills of Materials (BOMs) and update item cards as required. Assist with monthly and annual inventory counts. Contact carriers for outgoing shipments and book incoming shipments as needed. Schedule, receive, and coordinate inbound and outbound freight, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries. Process shipments and ensure accurate preparation of ASNs and waybills. Order and transfer CHEP pallets using the online portal. Maintain and update the freight file. Monitor shipments in real-time and provide updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues that arise during transit. Assist with monitoring and maintaining Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) information and compliance requirements. Handle issues such as delayed shipments or damaged goods to minimize disruptions in the supply chain. Act as a point of contact for customers, for addressing inquiries and resolving complaints for logistics & transportation issues. Review customer portals periodically and keep everyone updated on changes to shipping requirements. Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure proper quantities and timing of incoming raw materials. Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure timely inspection and release of raw materials and finished goods. Partner with the Warehouse Manager to adjust inventory and coordinate stock movements. Ensure all stock areas and warehouse zones remain clean, organized, and safe. Maintain orderly outside loading areas to support efficient freight movement. Other duties as required.
