Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing your custodial skills. This part time job consists of 2 x 4 hour shifts per week. Time is flexible as long as completed between Monday and Friday 9am - 5pm Example: 9am - 1pm, 10am - 2pm or 1pm - 5pm Must have Drivers license and own transportation. Police back round check must be completed. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a spotless appearance Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap to ensure continuous availability Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to promote health and safety standards Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify cleaning needs or maintenance issues Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with cleaning techniques, tools, and chemicals used in commercial cleaning settings Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas meet quality expectations Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift Join us in creating clean, safe, and inviting spaces We value energetic individuals who take pride in their work and are eager to contribute positively to our team.
