Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the condition of vehicles and equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to operate heavy equipment and utilize automotive repair skills as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles for freight transportation and deliveries. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to keep vehicles in optimal condition. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities. Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment operation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate schedules and deliveries. Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related logistics roles. Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred. Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus. Valid driver''s license appropriate for the vehicle type; commercial driver''s license (CDL) preferred but not required. Experience operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation.
