Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and assist with food preparation and service. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, POS systems, and restaurant operations while creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Previous restaurant experience and knowledge of the food industry are preferred but not required. The position is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering a memorable dining experience for our customers. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments efficiently and securely Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally Assist kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks as needed Ensure proper food safety procedures are followed at all times Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to serve guests promptly during peak hours Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed This role offers an engaging work environment where team members can grow their skills in the food industry while delivering outstanding service to our guests.
