Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy equipment, mainly excavators and skid steers. The Excavator Operator will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of construction tasks, utilizing their mechanical knowledge and expertise in heavy equipment operation. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of Caterpillar machinery and be capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Operate excavators safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites, including tasks such as digging, trenching, and material handling Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and work performed Qualifications Proven experience operating excavators Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting valid drivers license and vehicle Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable Strong understanding of safety standards in heavy equipment operation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads as needed be willing to get out of machines We value skilled operators who can contribute to successful project completion while maintaining a safe work environment.
