JOB DESCRIPTION Ace Hotel Toronto is a creative, culturally dynamic property with a vibrant food, beverage, art and music program. We are home to Alder, a Michelin-recognized restaurant by Chef Patrick Kriss, the lively Lobby Bar, and the Evangeline rooftop cocktail bar, all supported by ongoing DJ programming, activations and events. We are looking for a Social Media Manager with strong content creation skills to bring our hotel to life online and grow our digital presence with fresh, trend-driven storytelling. The Social Media Manager will lead content creation and manage daily social presence for: @acehoteltoronto, @evangelinetoronto & @aldertoronto. This role requires someone who is social-first, creative, understands TikTok/Instagram trends, and thrives in hospitality environments. You''ll work closely with our Community Marketing Manager to ideate content, plan monthly calendars, develop strategy and be present on-site capturing real-time moments. This is a creative role best suited for someone proactive, resourceful and passionate about food, culture, and community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Content Creation Capture high-quality photo + video content on-site weekly Develop TikTok and Instagram Reels that feel native, fun and current Create content for three accounts: @acehoteltoronto, @evangelinetoronto, @aldertoronto Attend weekend events, DJ nights, restaurant services and cultural programming for content Edit and prepare posts aligned with brand voice and tone Work with Marketing Manager to plan monthly content calendar and key storytelling priorities Community Management Daily community engagement across all three Instagram accounts, with a Mandatory schedule: 10AM 30 mins responding, reposting tagged content & 7PM 30 mins reviewing DMs, comments, guest stories Build connection with guests, creators, partners and the Toronto community Repost UGC, respond promptly and maintain warm brand communication Strategy + Planning Weekly check-in meeting with Community Marketing Manager Review analytics and identify top-performing content Research TikTok + IG trends and propose creative ideas Support influencer/creator outreach concepts QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 3-5 years experience in social media management + content creation Hospitality experience required (restaurant/hotel/nightlife preferred) Skilled at producing TikTok/Reels using iPhone Editing abilities using CapCut/Adobe/Canva Strong copywriting and tone-of-voice awareness Creative, proactive, and excited about new ideas + growth Comfortable working on-site frequently (not remote-only role) Passion for culture, food, music, design and social storytelling Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 24 per week Work Location: In person
