Job Title: Inventory Analyst Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Analyst responsible for maintaining and improving the company''s inventory practices. The ideal candidate will analyze inventory statistics, investigate discrepancies, and draft comprehensive inventory reports. The role requires coordination with material handlers, process audits, and the ability to propose improvements in inventory control. Responsibilities Analyze inventory statistics to sustain best practices. Investigate and reconcile variances and losses in on-hand inventory. Identify typical points of failure such as missing transactions, incorrect BOMs, and posting errors. Draft inventory reports documenting counts, discrepancies, and statistical data. Report inventory statistics to management and suggest improvements. Coordinate with material handlers to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue. Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with inventory processes and suggest improvements. Create BOOs and BOMs within the ERP System. Monitor and audit material transactions and create KPIs for best practices. Identify variances through reports, determine root causes of failure, and suggest improvements. Review active job reports for job completion and determine material variances. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory management and control. Experience with ERP systems, especially Epicor. Advanced Excel skills, including vlookups and pivot tables. Strong computer skills and familiarity with supply chain processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with cycle counts. Analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Work Environment This is a permanent position based in Mississauga, ON, with a rapidly growing Ontario-based company. The role requires working five days a week onsite and involves close collaboration with the supply chain manager. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mississauga, ON.
