Come and be apart of making an impact in our Kitimat Community Job Posting: Child and Youth Care Worker in Beautiful Northern BC Our agency is expanding, and we are hiring for Child and Youth Care Workers We are looking for a Child and Youth Care Worker to join our multi-disciplinary team to work with children birth 19 years of age. The Child and Youth Care Worker would use family-centered, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to provide consultation, assessment, intervention and monitoring. The position is permanent part-time. Complete written document and reports as required. Plan and facilitate individualized client sessions based on their goals. Participate as required in service plan and staff meetings. Consult with Family Support Manager on a monthly basis regarding client progress. To communicate effectively with children, families, and the KCDC team. Qualifications: Certificate or Diploma in Human Service Worker, Child and Youth Care, Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent. College students encouraged to apply. Additional Requirements: Current Class 5 Driver''s License and personal vehicle for work use Flexibility to work variable hours including evenings and weekends.
