Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home or facility setting. Schedule: 3-4 hours daily schedule Qualifications: Caregiver (required for personal care services). Listed in the Health Care Aide (HCA) Directory (mandatory). ENGLISH language fluency Previous experience in home care, personal care, or mobility assistance (preferred). Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check (required). Proof of negative TB skin test or medical clearance (required). First Aid/CPR certification (preferred but not mandatory). Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable to client preferences. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Help with meal preparation and planning, ensuring dietary needs are met. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with dementia care, providing specialized attention and understanding of their unique needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided. Offer hospice care support when required, ensuring dignity and comfort during end-of-life stages. Skills Experience in senior care or home care settings is highly desirable. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Proficient in meal preparation and understanding nutritional requirements for seniors. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices. Familiarity with dementia care techniques and compassionate communication strategies. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the client''s living space. Previous experience in nursing homes or hospice care is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy towards clients'' needs.
