Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist in setting up and cleaning tables, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain excellent guest service by addressing questions, special requests, and concerns professionally Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of POS systems Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accuracy Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Familiarity with food industry terminology such as serving, food preparation, and hospitality practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through outstanding service and teamwork Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.60 per hour Expected hours: 5 10 per week Work Location: In person
