What You''ll Do: Conduct leak detection work on Municipal water mains and distribution systems Operate acoustic sensors, ground microphones, tracer gas systems, and other specialized tools Fire hydrant maintenance/inspections Plan field routes, collect data, and contribute to and write technical reports Travel extensively across Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and occasionally across Canada Work outdoors in all weather conditions Drive a company vehicle on highways and in city environments. Support shop and office tasks when not in the field Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Requirements/Qualifications: Water distribution Level 1or 2 with a minimum of 5 years experience Fire hydrant maintenance/inspection experience. Valid Class 5 Driver''s License 5-year driving abstract required Physically fit: able to lift up to 50 lbs Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to think outside the box. Safety awareness Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
