Caff Sorrentino is looking for part-time Bartistas to join our team The Barista is a key position within our organization that plays a crucial role in providing excellent internal and external customer service. The Bartista at Caff Sorrentino is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages and food offerings. This role requires a passion for coffee, attention to detail and a warm, welcoming approach that reflects Caff Sorrentino''s commitment to hospitality. Responsibilities Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and ensure timely service. Be thoroughly familiar with the caff''s menu, including specials and promotions. Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks to brand standards. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and guest areas. Restock caff supplies, pastries, and retail items as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health & safety standards. Practice responsible selling and serving alcohol to patrons at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service. Handle guest questions, preferences, and concerns professionally. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications 1 year of previous barista experience preferred but not required. ProServe Certificated is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems and basic cash handling. Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and optimal memorization skills. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Maintain professionalism, cleanliness, and personal hygiene at all times. Fluent in English.
