Job: Welding Production Supervisor / H&S lead Low Volume Custom Metal Fabrication (Custom Machinery Manufacturing Metal Fabrication) Location: Brampton Mississauga area ON Base Salary: 75K -100K base benefits 5 days a week on Site Afternoon Shift Monday -Friday 3pm -11pm Our client is a leading manufacturer /fabricator of ''low volume high customisation'' machine parts / equipment for the mining/agriculture and similar industries and have a job open for Welding Production Supervisor to oversee the afternoon shift in low volume customized fabrication and provide leadership to welders, welder fitters, fabricators and other front line associates. This is a hands-on leadership role in the Mississauga- Brampton, ON area for straight afternoons- Monday - Friday. All candidates must have min 3 years leadership/ supervisory experience in supervising low volume custom metal Fabrication (MUST have ). Experienced welders/ machinist with leadership experience under the Canadian H&S governance are welcome to apply. Welding Production Supervisor / H&S lead Low Volume Custom Metal Fabrication is fully responsible for giving leadership to the front line Machining, Cutting, bending welding within this custom fabrication shop and ensure labor scheduling, work load planning, material planning, material availability is aligned to optimize productivity and throughput. You are responsible for coaching mentoring performance management of the welders-fitters, fabricators, cutters benders and similar, provide training, ensure they follow all Health & Safety requirements and have the right tickets to follow compliance. Welding Production Supervisor / H&S lead Low Volume Custom Metal Fabrication will ideally have 3-4 years in a supervisor role in low volume fabrication ( MUST have ) with 5-6 years as hands-on welder/ welder fitter/ machinist within the Canadian Health & Safety requirements ,welding experience as a TIG welder is highly preferred.
