About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Assistant Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the standards and safety regulations set by the resort and other Government organizations, so that the resort is in proper running order. Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repairs to all areas of the resort, including off property staff housing. Assist the Maintenance team with ensuring all areas of the Resort are running smoothly, adhering to all fire, health and safety guidelines. Prioritize and keep on top of any renovations and seasonal shut down or start up activities as directed. Assist in all regular maintenance daily duties which include: Doing 3 to 4 garbage runs a day To check the maintenance book at the front desk for items that need to be addressed and prioritize which items need to be attended to first. In the winter, to make sure the walkways and paths are cleared and salted. In the spring, summer, and fall, to rake the leaves and to sweep the necessary areas. To answer any radio calls and to advise the office as to when it may be looked after. In summer, to maintain the upkeep of the grounds (example cutting the grass). Complete daily circle checks of the Maintenance department vehicles and applicable machinery and equipment. Job Specification: Valid driver''s license. Electrical and plumbing experience an asset. Machinery experiences an asset. Must be reliable, honest, hardworking, and flexible. May be required to work elsewhere on the resort as needed.
