Job Description Job Description: Fusion Glassworks Inc is a leading fabricator of glass products; including mirrors, laminated glass, sandblasting, and art glass. We are currently looking for a motivated person with a can-do attitude to join our team. Job Title: Production worker Job Summary: Production workers are responsible for fabricating product. These duties may include carrying sheets of glass, operating a variety of machines, production of laminated glass, receiving shipments, forklift operation, and preparing glass to ship out. Frequent heavy lifting and long periods of standing are involved. Responsibilities and duties: Accurately measuring and cutting Glass and mirrors. Operation of machinery used in fabrication of glass. Laminating glass. Loading and unloading of glass shipments with a forklift. Ensuring orders are completed in a timely manner. Operation of table saws, glass grinders, and other machinery. Desired qualifications and skills: Ability frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds Reliable and motivated Punctual Detail oriented Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic Positive attitude Ability to work alone as well as with a team Reliable transportation is required. We will fully train the right candidate in all aspects of production. This is a full-time position Hours: 8:00 am 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week). Starting wage is $27.00 an hour with room for advancement. Wage is also negotiable depending on experience.
