Mountainview Systems Ltd (MVS) has been providing the construction industry with products and services for over 30 years. MVS is recruiting for the above position. Reporting directly to the Senior Inside-Sales person, the person in this role will be responsible for inside sales operations as well as helping our shipping and receiving in washing/ inspecting of our equipment in the yard. Additionally, this role will require the person to physically store the inventory in our warehouse and to process all related inventory transactions in our accounting system. The person in this role is responsible for ensuring that the yard and the warehouse are well maintained and well organized. This position includes the opportunity to earn commissions on inside sales activities and strong work performance. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Answering phones, emails and all aspects of providing outstanding customer service. Perform basic inside sales responsibilities including recommending solutions to the customer and processing contracts with accuracy and professionalism. Ensure that all paperwork is properly completed and filed as per company procedures Prospect new clients through cold calls, networking Follow up on customer satisfaction and resolve issues proactively Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups by booking courier services from MVS to other locations, customers and vendors Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile and communicate updates daily to ensure strong inventory Wear relevant PPE at all times and observe Health and Safety policies Participate in the Health and Safety and Quality Control programs General labour duties including sweeping and cleaning shop floor areas and generally ensuring the warehouse area remains organized and tidy Provide recommended maintenance and repair feedback for the operation of all warehouse equipment and tools Education, Skills and Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, customer service or a related field is required. Warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving is considered an asset Must have Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver''s License with a clean driver''s abstract Sit down Counterbalance Forklift experience loading/unloading trucks without a dock Able to read, write and understand English Able to understand and process paperwork as required Basic computers skills including: Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office 365, Sharepoint and Navision (accounting software) Familiar with safety programs and requirements Criminal record check may be required Must be physically capable to continually lift 50 lbs regularly without struggle Duties are subject to change at any time according to the needs of the location or company.
