Food Service Supervisor Duties: Establish methods to meet work schedules Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Estimate and order ingredients and supplies Ensure food service and quality control Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage Prepare and submit reports Establish work schedules Skills: Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred. Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment handling. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training new team members is a plus. Cash handling experience with accuracy and accountability. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
