Help us create an unforgettable experience for our guests while contributing to an exciting fundraising event What You''ll Do: Guest Engagement & Customer Service: Greet and interact with guests, ensuring a welcoming and engaging experience Support various event activities and roles across the facility Assist with event setup, breakdown, and operations to ensure a seamless event experience Provide excellent customer service while helping guests enjoy their visit Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the event Roles may include, but are not limited to: Check-In Support Elevator Operating Station Host Directional Support / Parking Front Desk Support Floor Support Health and Safety: Ensure all Health, Safety and Risk Management policies and procedures are followed at all times, by all participants. Support the maintenance of a safe, clean, and well-organized facility environment. Customer Service: Able to work independently or as a team member. Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests and go above and beyond to accommodate requests to ensure an amazing experience. Act professional when dealing with difficult guests and vendors. Work towards solutions to ensure a positive experience. Sundry: Any other duties as assigned by the Manager of Education or Director of Operations Required Skills and Experience: Must be fully vaccinated as required by law and Aquatarium policy, including COVID-19 and any other vaccinations necessary to reduce the risk of zoonotic disease transmission, or provide proof of exemption under protected human rights categories. Proven ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to follow safety instructions, signage, and communicate effectively with staff and guests. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail. Able to work independently and as part of a team, coordinating with others to meet deadlines and cleanliness standards. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and occasional overtime or extended hours for special events. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs safely, and climb ladders when required. Must be comfortable stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Comfortable working in proximity to live animals and aquatic environments, following all related protocols for noise, contamination prevention, and animal welfare. Recent Background Check required prior to employment. Valid driver''s license, passport, and reliable transportation required. Work Environment: Temporary / Contract Position (March Break). Training in February.
