Job Opportunity: Experienced Pipelayer Flury Earthworks Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Pipelayer to join our crew for projects in West Kelowna and the surrounding area. The Role: Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the accurate installation of underground utilities (Storm, Sanitary, Water, and shallow utilities). Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret civil drawings and blueprints. Set up and operate pipe lasers and survey equipment to ensure precise grading. Assist in the installation of manholes, catch basins, and various utility pipe. Operate compaction equipment to ensure proper bedding and compaction. Proactively identify site hazards and participate in daily safety initiatives. Collaborate with operators and ground crew, performing manual labor and fine grading to meet production targets. What You Bring: Minimum 5 years of pipelaying experience in civil construction. Proficiency with pipe lasers and reading site plans; GPS experience is an asset. Valid First Aid and Confined Space Entry certifications are highly valued. Valid Class 5 Driver''s License and dependable transportation. Physically fit (ability to lift 50lbs), punctual, and able to work independently or lead a ground crew. A proven safety record working around heavy equipment and in trenches.
