Now hiring Lead Barista The Coffee Exchange, a locally owned specialty coffeehouse located in the heart of downtown Windsor -- and proudly voted Windsor''s Best Coffeehouse, is now hiring a Lead Barista/Shift Supervisor. Position Details: This role offers approximately 30 to 35 hours per week (depending on applicant''s availability) and is primarily for afternoon and weekend shifts. What We''re Looking For: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities Reliable, punctual, and conscientious Able to learn new tasks quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy Previous food service experience is preferred Please include a cover letter with your application. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food items Operate the POS system efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet customer needs Ability to direct others on-shift and ensure the shift operates efficiently Opportunities for Advancement: At The Coffee Exchange, we believe in growing our team from within.
