Schlueter Acura has entered an exciting time in its history with a brand new facility and its new model lineup. This state of the art facility provides us the ability to meet the demand of the market today and room to grow for the future. We are in need of an experienced unlicensed technician to start immediately. Our shop currently has a long term team in place with 6 licensed technicians (60+ years of Acura Experience) and 1 junior apprentice. Your main responsibilities within the team would be to perform repairs, maintenance and diagnose accurately the very first time to ensure the client''s vehicle is safe and prevent unwanted returns to the service department. You will also be heavily involved with seasonal tire organization and handling, including installations. Other requirements and responsibilities are listed below: Requirements: High school diploma and/or post-secondary diploma Previous knowledge and existing mechanical curiosity is preferred Valid driver''s license with a clean record Acura/Honda product knowledge is an asset Awareness of deadlines and able to meet them Tech savvy to meet the ongoing demand of technology in vehicles and staying on top of the manufactures training program (online and onsite) A/C License but not necessary In depth knowledge and problem solving skills for technical diagnose including electrical systems Understand the importance of CSI and ready to assist in whatever it takes to meet those goals Use of quality control processes to ensure ''fix right the first time'' is met Strong written and oral communication skills Responsibilities: Diagnose client concerns using proper procedures and communicate with other team members to ensure accuracy Maintain your own set of tools and respect the shop specialty tools when in use Recommend additional repairs as required Understand the manufactures warranty program and provide documentation to complete the repairs Return the client''s vehicle in a clean and satisfactory condition.
