Since 1994, Figaro''s has been supporting local gardeners in their journey to discover that ''plants make everything better'' Position Summary Figaro''s Garden is seeking a Full-time Landscaping Team Member to assist with residential garden maintenance, small-scale installations, and seasonal projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors in all seasons, has a strong attention to detail, and values high-quality workmanship; someone who is passionate about thoughtful, environmentally responsible gardening. Working closely with a small team of 3, we design, create and maintain gardens that support local ecosystems and reflect strong horticultural design principles. What You''ll Do Maintain and refine residential gardens using organic horticulture practices Plant zone-appropriate perennials, shrubs, and small trees in ground and patio planters Work with clients to support their small, design-driven installations and garden refreshes Build healthy soils through composting, mulching, and careful cultivation Use hand tools and small cordless equipment with precision and care Ensure clean, professional job sites and positive client interactions Occasional hardscape installations using flagstone, pavers and gravel What You Bring Experience, or equivalent schooling, in landscaping or garden maintenance ( minimum 1 year, 2 or more years preferred) Interest in ecological gardening and thoughtful plant design Ability to work outdoors March November Attention to detail, reliability, and a collaborative mindset Valid driver''s licence is essential as is comfort driving company 1-ton pickup Ability to work independently and with a small team Capable of lifting 40-50 lbs of materials and supplies and perform physically demanding tasks Why Join Figaro''s Garden Be part of a team known for high-quality, sustainable horticulture Full-time work with competitive pay and extended health benefits Ongoing learning in plant selection, design, and ecological approaches Staff discount at Figaro''s Garden Supportive team culture Annual clothing allowance Hours/Wage Full time 32-40 hrs /week, Monday - Friday; hourly wage $26-30/hr, depending on experience; extended health benefits included.
