Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) - Avionics Job Location: Ottawa, ON - Ottawa International Airport (YOW) Job Schedule: Rotation Shift Compensation Range : Between $44.82 - $58.60 per hour As an avionics licensed AME, you will have an exclusive opportunity to contribute to the support of the Canadian governments CC330 Husky fleet operating as a new strategic tanker transport capability (STTC), troops/passengers movements and VVIP travels. VVIP include the royal family, the governor general and our prime minister. You will have several opportunities to travel the world as a flyer with generous compensation. Essential Functions Performance of work, up to and including certification with approved processes; Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including challenging working conditions); Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment; Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes; Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft; Maintaining a clean work area; Assuming responsibility for his work as indicated by his signature/st Performing duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures; Familiarization of the MPM and related processes; Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times; Ability to travel on board to aircraft to service and carry out repairs as needed throughout the world; Complete all assigned training and tasks on time; and Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested. Qualifications You must hold an AME E license and have qualifications on A330 heavy aircraft; Minimum of 5 years experience on A330 aircraft; Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment; Ability to be productive and multi-task in a demanding work environment; Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills; Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Eligibility Criteria Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program; Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance; Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
