As a Utility Worker with ENMAXPoweryou willsupport Distribution Field Services at the South Service Centre. This permanent role involves hands-on work in varied weather conditions,assistingwith construction and maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment and work sites.You''llbe part of a team dedicated to upholding safety standards and delivering reliable service to our community. Responsibilities: This position is under the direction and general supervision of a Field Resources Leadhand or Coordinator. The incumbent willbe responsible for: Adhere to the Province of Alberta, ENMAX Corporation, A.E.U.C. (Alberta Electrical Utility Code) and Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations. Working in all weather conditions and often in open trenches around underground utilities,manholes, performing flagging on roadway construction sites, and around heavy equipment. Typicallabourerduties such as basic concrete and carpenter duties along with working with tools suchas;shovels, tampers, digging bars, grinders, cut off saws, circular saws, concrete vibrator, and jackhammers up to 95lbs. Ensure proper care and use of vehicles,equipmentand work sites. Qualifications & Experience: Must meet ENMAX Corporation''s requirements as to qualifications and/or must be qualified under theAlberta Skilled Trade and Apprenticeship EducationAct with respect to the related electrical trade. Must have a proven safety record and thorough knowledge of Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Practices (SWOPs). Mustbe in good physical condition. Must have general knowledge of the principals involved in the operation of construction and maintenance methods and procedures. Must have a validProvince of Albertadriver''s license, minimum Class 5 (non-GDL) High School Diploma or GED Will have (or be willing to obtain) Standard First Aid and C.P.R. Must be willing to upgrade qualifications asrequired.
