Student Employee - Recruitment & Events (Salmon Arm) The Student Assistant Recruitment and Events will assist the Recruitment department and the Regional Deans Offices with event setup; provide general tours; greet attendees, provide assistance at checkin if required, and other assistance as needed. Campus Information Nights Information booths for current students Local career fairs and all other campus recruitment and events Providing campus tours Orientation, student appreciation and student life events Providing other assistance as needed Functions and Duties Assist the supervisor with campus information nights Assist with information booths for current students Participate in local career fairs and campus recruitment events Provide campus tours Support orientation and student life events Offer additional assistance as required Education and Experience Enrolled in a postsecondary program at Okanagan College Prior work experience is an asset Skills and Abilities Proficiency in a variety of computer software applications Works effectively independently and as part of a team with an aptitude for a collegial and collaborative environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Welldeveloped organizational, detailoriented skills Position Specifics Desired Start Date: 09/22/2025 Position End Date: 12/24/2025 Schedule: Hourly Hourly Rate: $17.88 Appointment Type: Support NonRegular Student Special Instructions Priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.
